The North Harbour (Nordhavnen)

The North Harbour of Roenne consists of quays 1-10.

Quays 2 and 3, the Steamboat Quay (Damskibskajen), are equipped with solid fenders jutting out approx. 1.5 metres from the quayside.

Quay 4, the Ditch (Graven), is equipped with a hydraulic unloading platform.

Quay 5, the Tourist Quay (Turistkajen), serves the ferry routes to Køge in Denmark and Ystad i Sweden. Water depths vary between 5.5 metres and 6.5 metres.

Quays 6 - 7, the Transverse Quay (Tværkajen) and Ferry Quay (Færgekajen), serve small ferries, etc.

Quay 8, the North Quay (Nordkajen) is 40 meters long with a water depth of 5 metres. The North Quay is used for small craft and is equipped with electricity, 380/63 max. output.

Quay 9, the East Quay (Østkajen), also referred to as "King's Quay" (Kongekajen), is 125 metres long with a water depth of 5 metres. This quay is used for loading and unloading of general cargo and bulk cargo and as berth for the Royal Danish Yacht Dannebrog. Freshwater and electricity, 380/63 max. output, are available.

Quays 10, the Quay of the Islands, is 140 metres long with water depths varying between 5.5 and 6.5 metres. Freshwater and electricity, 360/63 max. output, are available. At the end of quay 10, a frost-proof freshwater plant with a hose of approx. 40 metres is found. Quay 10 also serves as emergency berth for the high-speed ferry Villum Clausen.

 

West Harbour (Vesthavnen)

The Roenne West Harbour consists of quays 26-30.

Quay 26, the Quay of Finland (Finlandskajen), is 175 metres long with a water depth of 7 metres. The quay mainly serves ferry traffic. The quay is equipped with solid fenders jutting out approx. 1.5 metres from the quay. Freshwater and electricity, 360/63 max. output, are available.

Quay 27, the North Quay (Nordkajen), is 80 metres long with a water depth of 7 metres. The North Quay is used for general cargo and loading and unloading of bulk cargo. Freshwater is available.

Quays 28 and 29, the West Quay (Vestkajen), are 265 metres long with a water depth of 7 metres and have a loading system for sand with a capacity of 400 tonnes per hour and a silo and an unloading system for loose cement. The silo facility comprises a loading system for grain. The West Quay also serves as storage area for agricultural lime and fertilizers. Freshwater and electricity, 380/63 max. output, are available.

Quay 30, the Leeward Pier (Læmolen), is 90 metres long with a water depth of 7 metres and is used for loading and unloading of general cargo, bulk cargo and wood.

South Harbour (Sydhavnen)

The South Harbour of the Port of Roenne consists of quays 12 to 25 and 31 to 32.

Quay 12, the Oil Bridge (Oliebroen), is 100 metres long with a water depth of 7 metres. The Oil Bridge is used for loading of tanker ships.

Quay 13, the Coal Quay (Kulkajen), is 200 metres long with a water depth of 7 metres. The Coal Quay serves as loading site for coal to the Bornholm-based energy company Østkraft as well as for loading and unloading of beer and water. Freshwater and electricity, 380/63 max. output, are available.

Quay 14, the Silo Quay (Silokajen), is 80 metres long with a water depth of 7 metres. The Silo Quay is used for loading of tanker ships. The Silo Quay is also used as temporary berth.

Quay 15, the Crushed Stone Quay (Skærvekajen) is 150 metres long with a water depth of 7 metres. The Crushed Stone Quay is used for loading of crushed stone. Two loading systems are located on the Quay, each with a capacity of 500 tonnes per hour. Freshwater is available on the quay.

Quay 16, the Triangle (Trekanten), is 60 metres long with a water depth of 4 metres.

Quay 17, the Fillet Quay (Filletkajen), is 120 meters long with a water depth of 7 metres. A loading platform for bulk cargo carried by commercial vehicles (kaolin, chaussé stones, etc.). The lower edge of the platform is max. 4.1 metres above normal water level. Freshwater and electricity, 380/63 max. output, are available.

Quay 18, the Rotna Quay (Rotnakajen), is 80 metres long with a water depth of 4 metres. Along the Rotna Quay, repair work is carried out, and fishing boats are moored after loading. Freshwater and electricity, 380/63 max. output, are available.

Quays 19, 20, 21 and 24, the Fishing Harbour (Fiskehavnen), is the fishing harbour of the Port of Roenne. It is 4 metres deep, and freshwater and electricity, 380/63 max. output, are available.

Quays 22 and 23, the Transverse Pier (Tværmolen), is 180 metres long with a water depth of 7 metres. Quay 22 is used for loading of fish for the seafood company A. Espersen A/S, which has a reception hall on the quay. Quay 23 is used for loading and unloading of general cargo. Freshwater and electricity, 380/63 output, are available.

Quay 25, the Blind Gut (Blindtarmen), is 55 metres long with a water depth of 7 metres. The Blind Gut is used for loading of fish. Furthermore, a frost-proof water installation is located on Quay 25. Electricity, 380/63 max. output, is available.

Quays 31 and 32, the Cruise Quay (Krydstogtskajen), are 240 metres long with a water depth of 9 metres. The Cruise Quay is used the loading and unloading of containers and general cargo by cruise ships.

 

Southern Boat Harbour (Sdr. Bådehavn)

The harbour is located between the North Harbour and the South Harbour. From the approach to the traffic harbour, boats must be steered straight towards the outer pier-head of the Southern Boat Harbour.

The Harbour serves local boats, small fishing boats and visiting leisure boats.

The water depth is 1.8 metres, and toilets and showers are available. Freshwater and electricity, 220/10 max. output, are available.
